Denimsandjeans.com has now shifted its focus to Vietnam, as the country has clinched the title of the
emerging apparel and textile hub after TPP came to fruition. It is holding Vietnam’s first ever denim show at Gem Center, Ho Chi Minh City on June 16 and 17. The show will be marked by the presence of both local and international players from denim and sportswear supply chain, under the same roof.
Right from the reputed local fabrics and apparel manufacturers to international mills, chemical and accessory suppliers, all the players in the vertical will reap the benefit of the international exposure they are set to get at the event.
The show will comprise a series of seminars, panel discussions, and presentations for the benefit of the audience. One such seminar that will create a lot of buzz is denim expert Giovanni Petrin’s 'Blues Revolution'.
Besides, a conference by Jeanologia, the leading textile technology company, titled - Vietnam Horizon 2020, A View to the Future, has been also scheduled to enlighten the audience. The highlight of the show, however, will be a documentary made by Fabio and Christian - denim nerds from Italy.
The show is a sincere attempt to establish a business partnership between Vietnam and the US and aims at giving Vietnamese apparel industry the much-needed global exposure.
